Yeppoon is a beautiful little Coastal Town situated on the East Coast of Central Queensland and I feel very blessed to live here. We are only 30mins boat trip from the gorgeous Keppel Island.
We have beautiful winter days where the Aqua ocean makes a perfect backdrop to the exquisite cluster of Islands that surround our Coastline.
In this painting I was inspired by the Sail boats that frequent our waters. This is the view from our Balcony and I was hoping to capture the freedom and calmness I felt.
The ocean has always inspired me, I aspire to create a feeling of a relaxing day at the beach, where you feel the cool water and can almost smell the warm salty breeze.
As an artist, I always want to provoke feelings through my work, pieces you want to connect with.
